LymTal International provides toll manufacturing of specialty polymers and toll packaging of materials to customers who do not possess the in-house manufacturing capabilities, or whose volume on certain products would make in-house manufacturing uneconomical. The reactors can handle products with a viscosity from 1,000 cps to 30,000 cps, and are supported with the following accessories:

  • KD grinding mill, diaphragm pump, 3 stage filtration system

The reactor/mixers can handle products with a wide range of viscosity from 1,000 cps to 1 million cps, and are equipped with the following:

QC/R&D   Our laboratories are equipped with the following:
  • Visocsity measuring devices (Brookfield DVII and DVIII digital viscometers)
  • 4 Cannon-Fenske viscosity tubes (approx 1-100 cST)
  • Tensile / tear strength and elongation measurement (computerized)
  • Moisture analyzer (Aquastar - C 2000, coulometric moisture titrators)
  • Constant temperature water bath
  • Weatherometer -Q-UV
  • Vacuum chamber, vacuum oven, heating oven and 1000 °C mufel oven
  • Elcometer pull-force tester (2)
  • Pensky-Marten flash point apparatus
  • Taber abrader
  • Single point monitor for detecting TDI, IPDI and MDI's
  • Portable contact and not contact temperature and humidity devices and portable chart records
  • Certified and calbrated gauges: pressure gauge, vacuum gauge, weights, thermometers, durometers and tachometers used for testing and production equipment setup.

  • Acid and epoxide value titrations
  • Specific gravity determination and pH measurement
  • Access to multinuclear NMR spectrometer at nearby Oakland University
  • On-the-spot troubleshooting / analysis of various samples
  • On-site calibration program to ensure all testing / wighing equipment is calibrated and re-certified on a regular basis
  • Contracted scales and balances calibration service every 90 days
